2023 INFINITI QX50 vs 2023 INFINITI QX60

Full-size luxury SUVs still have a place in America, and the 2023 INFINITI QX50 and QX60 prove this with their wide range of distinguished exterior and interior features. Both bring plenty of performance and size to families who live life a little more enthusiastically than others. Both have similar trim lineups that feature the Pure, Luxe, Sensory, and Autograph, but the QX50 brings in an additional Sport trim to take home.

Performance

Both the QX50 and QX60 offer simple powertrain options. The QX50's 2.0L engine is rated at 268 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain gets its transitions from a CVT gearbox. As the larger SUV of the two, the QX60's powertrain is a 3.5L V6 with 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. It has a different transmission as well: a 9-speed automatic transmission. Which one of these models is right for you might come down to their power profiles.

Appearance

You'll notice LED headlamps, bold wheel options, and an inspired grille from both models. Those who love chrome will love either the QX50 or QX60. However, they have different designs that require careful comparison. The QX50's hood is much more multidimensional than the sophisticated QX60's hood. The QX60 gets two sharp but shorter defining lines on the edge of the hood. A QX50 gets two well-defined lines that create a near wave on the hood for definition. The QX50 also gets thicker LED headlamps compared to the sharp, thin LED lamps on the QX60.

Features

INFINITI favors an asymmetrical design for the QX50. It gives the interior an extremely layered look that creates a calm, soothing space. Interior colors and upholsteries are unique, too. The QX60 features choices like Sandstone leather-appointed seats with a beautiful Black Lacquer trim. The QX50 delivers Graphite leatherette seating to start out on its Pure trim, and this is combined with Dark Aluminum trim. On the fully loaded end of the trim lineup, the QX50 adds upholsteries like Pebble Gray Quilted Ultrasuede seating with Natural Maple wood trim. A QX60 can be designed with Saddle Brown Semi-Aniline leather-appointed seats and Black Open Pore Ash Wood trim. There are over six bold upholstery options for both models.
