What's New for The 2018 INFINITI Q60?
After a full redesign last year, the 2018 INFINITI Q60 offers minor updates. The Red Sport 400 trim is now equipped with 20-inch wheels, while the 3.0t Sport trim comes with 19-inch wheels. They have also re-named the four trim options: Pure, Luxe, Sport, and Red Sport 400.
2018 Trims and Features
The 2018 INFINITI Q60 offers four unique and well-equipped trim options: Pure, Luxe, Sport, and Red Sport 400.
The Pure trim is only available with the 2.0 turbo engine and is the base model of the Q60. The exterior features automatic LED headlights, fog lights, remote keyless entry, and power, heated exterior mirrors. Inside, drivers will enjoy push-button start, leatherette seats, eight-way, power-adjust seating, and dual-zone climate control. The tech features include the INFINITI InTouch infotainment system with an 8-inch top screen and 7-inch bottom screen, Bluetooth, voice recognition, and an eight-speaker audio system.
The Luxe trim is offered on both styles of engine and comes equipped with BOSE 13-speaker premium audio system, a power moon roof, and a universal transceiver, along with the features offered on the Pure trim.
The Sport is also offered on both engine styles. It features 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with a sport-tuned suspension and brakes. Aluminum-trimmed pedals, carbon or silver trim, and leather seats bring a blend of luxury and sport to the Q60.
The Red Sport 400 is the top of the line trim option. This trim comes equipped with all of the great features of the Sport trim, and it also includes 20-inch alloy wheels, red exterior trim, and power sport-style seats.
2018 INFINITI Q60 Horsepower
Drivers who are seeking a sport car that blends performance and luxury will love the new INFINITI Q60. The base engine is a 2.0-liter, inline-4 with turbocharge that provides a solid 208 horsepower. Next is a 3.0-liter, six-cylinder turbo engine that packs 300 horsepower. Drivers wanting a luxury sports car that packs as much power as a muscle car will love the Red Sport 400 with its 3.0-liter, six-cylinder engine with twin turbochargers and a jaw-dropping 400 horsepower.
While all models of the Q60 come standard with a seven-speed automatic transmission, the Sport and Red Sport 400 trims do offer wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Rear wheel drive is also standard, but all wheel drive is an optional upgrade for all vehicles.
INFINITI Q60 Safety
The makers at INFINITI know safety is a top priority for drivers. All models of the Q60 come standard with a full suite of airbags, traction and dynamic control, anti-lock brakes, and a rearview camera. For drivers wanting additional features, the ProAssist package includes blind spot warning, lane departure alert, rear cross-traffic alert, parking sensors, and forward collision warnings.
