WHAT'S NEW FOR THE 2021 INFINITI Q50?
There are no big changes for the 2021 INFINITI Q50; additional standard safety features were added to the Luxe trim.
2021 Q50 COMES WITH AN AMAZING ARRAY OF FEATURES
On the base Q50 Pure trim, an eight-way driver's seat with leatherette upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and shifting knob is standard. You'll also get front LED headlamps with automatic on/off functions. The Luxe trim comes with a tinted moonroof that slides for optimum illumination and ventilation. Textured aluminum decorates the luxurious cabin of this mid-level model.
If you go for a more sporty flavor, you will opt for the Sensory trim. It features 19-inch alloy wheels, sporty styling; the front seats come with heating, leather upholstery, and a manual thigh extension. Featuring the Bose Performance Series label, 16 speakers give expansive audio in the Red Sport 400. You'll enjoy the comfort of semi-aniline leather-covered front seats. Red stitches and quilts are also integrated into these exclusive seats. The car's cabin features a Carbon finish, which looks great with the aluminum pedals and footrest.
HOW WELL DOES THE 2021 INFINITI Q50 PERFORM?
The INFINITI Q50 is powered by a 3.0 L V6 engine with twin turbochargers. This aluminum-alloy turbo engine block delivers up to 300 horsepower at 6,400 RPM and 295 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 RPM. Standard on the Red Sport trim, the high-output version of this six-cylinder powertrain delivers up to 400 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. Dual water pumps and turbo speed sensors are integrated into this exclusive powertrain. Both V6 turbo engines feature an air charging system with water cooling for optimum performance at high tachometer levels.
Rear-wheel drive and the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive are available for this luxury INFINITI sedan. Both drivetrains work with a seven-speed transmission with multiple driving aides. For example, the Adaptive Shift Control optimizes the gear sequences for sporty and everyday driving. The Manual Shift Mode gives you more control of the gear shifting. You can optimize the 2021 Q50's fuel economy by activating the Eco Pedal.
There are additional driving settings from the Drive Mode Selector in the center console. Equipped with the all-new Dynamic Digital Suspension, this high-end sedan offers a premium ride on the road.
Q50 SAFETY AT THE FOREFRONT
The INFINITI Q50's Predictive Forward Collision Warning prepares you for a potential crash with another car. If there's an elevated risk of a crash, you'll get immediate assistance from the Forward Emergency Braking. This luxurious sedan also has the Active Lane Control function that corrects swaying and jolting on the highway. Other notable driver-assistance technologies on this INFINITI model include Distance Control Assist and Backup Collision Intervention.
