The INFINITI QX30 makes it easy for you to send and receive phone calls without distracting you from the road. This allows you to stay in touch while getting where you need to go. Below, we will show you how to send and receive calls on an INFINITI QX30 crossover.

You can make your call on the wireless hands-free phone system, press the menu button on the INFINITI controller. Then, touch the phone icon. From there, you will have a choice to dial a number from your list of favorite contacts, phone history, phone book, or you can input the number manually using the keypad. If you do not want to use a manual input, simply use the voice command feature to place your phone call. To use the voice command, press the talk button which is located on the steering wheel. Then say, “Phone.” After that, say “Call.” After that, say the same the name of the person you wish to call. The system will return a selection of potential names with a corresponding number. Just say the number that matches the name you wish to call.

To answer an incoming call, touch the phone button on the steering wheel or touch “Answer” on the vehicle’s display screen. If you would like to reject an incoming call, touch “Decline.” If there is an incoming call while you are making a call, a notification will come onto the screen. You can touch “Answer” to answer the call or “Decline.” When you answer the incoming call, the other call will be placed on hold. If you have two people on the line, you can press the “Switch Call” button to go from one caller to the other. To disconnect both calls, press “End all Calls.” If you want to switch from using the car’s hands-free wireless system to using your phone, press the “Switch Handset” button. If you would like to transfer the call back the vehicle’s hands-free wireless system, press “Use Hands free.” You can mute any call by pressing the “Mute” button. To end the mute function, press “Cancel Mute.” If you would like to manually enter a phone number, simply press “Enter Digits.” Afterward, you will see a digit display where you can enter the outbound number. To end a call, press the “Hang Up” button on the display screen.
