What is the INFINITI Around View Monitor?

Around View Monitor is the world’s first automotive technology that offers a 360-degree birdseye view around a vehicle. This unique angle is made possible by the array of four digital cameras around the INFINITI vehicle to create a real-time composite image to assist the driver maneuvering in and out of a parking space. This technology also incorporates Moving Object technology that allows the system to detect a pedestrian, object or other vehicle movements around the vehicle.

How Does Around View Monitor Work?

Included in the Around View Monitor is a Sonar Warning System that detects the distance of other objects around the INFINITI vehicle. As the INFINITI approaches another vehicle, an audible warning alerts the driver to the amount of distance the vehicle has to the other object. Around View Monitor will be available as available equipment on a number of INFINITI vehicles for the 2019 model year.
