Many consumers like the idea of purchasing an electric vehicle, but they aren’t sure about the long-term cost of ownership. If you’re on the fence about buying an EV, you’ll be happy to know that the cost of ownership could be less than you think.

Fuel Savings
First of all, driving an electric vehicle instead of a comparable gasoline-powered car will save you money on fuel. Research from Consumer Reports suggests that it can save you anywhere from $800 to $1,000 per year.

Maintenance and Repairs
Maintaining an electric vehicle is also much cheaper than maintaining a gasoline-powered vehicle that requires regular fuel changes and is more mechanically complex overall. You can expect to save around $4,600 over the lifespan of your vehicle when you go electric.

Depreciation
Consumer Reports also suggest that newer electric vehicles are maintaining their value as well as or better than traditional cars. This is especially true now that many EVs are capable of driving up to 200 miles on a single full charge.

If you want to learn more about whether an EV may be right for you, feel free to contact our dealership here in Frisco, TX. If you discover you’d like to stick with a gasoline-powered vehicle, we carry a great new and used selection to accommodate your needs.

Women

In honor of International Women’s Day, the navigation app Waze and INFINITI announced their partnership, marking women’s businesses and history. 14 North American countries will have historical landmarks and women owned businesses set for marking. The initiative is set to continue for a whole women’s month.

Speaking in an interview, the marketing and communications Shelley Pratt said that it is time for women need to be recognized for their immense contribution to society, which has gone unnoticed over the years. The INFINITI’s executive noted that they had seen many street marks in North America that was not appropriately named for women. The narrative needed to change, which pushed the company to start a sensitization of diversity and see women who challenged the convention recognized.

Some women owned businesses and gave back to societies but also went unrecognized; this is another reason the company needed to showcase who they are. The selected cities are to show women’s symbols with light purple pins indicating participating businesses. These cities are Washington, Philadelphia, Toronto, Nashville, etc.
With the help of the Waze app, all users are to drive near the selected landmarks and click on them for more information that is to be read out just like other directions are usually read. Users will also have an opportunity to find other destinations when searching for these landmarks using the Waze app.

The National Women’s History Museum contributed to the selection of these landmarks as it is the most recognized institution for uncovering and celebrating women who have made contributions to society.

Waze’s chief revenue officer Suzie Reider said that their core commitment is service to the community, which is central to what they do. Waze works with volunteers worldwide to ensure drivers have updated information on every location. The company finds it necessary to celebrate local businesses that hold the society together.

The navigation company intends to encourage users to change their car icons to the INFINITI QX60 2022 model. The brand features a 12.3-inch display, wireless Apple CarPlay, and an Android Auto USB cable to help navigate using the new Waze features.

Fuel-Efficient

INFINITI is one of the world’s most innovative luxury automotive brands. INFINITI has a reputation for developing exhilarating vehicles, but it also enables drivers to experience an efficient performance. Let’s take a look at two of INFINITI’s most efficient models.

2022 INFINITI QX50
For good reason, the QX50 is a top-rated small crossover. Under the hood rests INFINITI’s groundbreaking VC-Turbo four-cylinder engine. With a total of 268 horsepower on tap, this variable-compression engine manages to offer an especially great blend of power and efficiency. To enable drivers to travel further on each tank of gas, INFINITI also equips the QX50 with a continuously variable transmission. You can look forward to getting up to an EPA-estimated 29 mpg. Don’t hesitate to take the new QX50 on an out-of-town road trip.

2022 INFINITI Q50
If you have a passion for driving excitement, the new Q50 is bound to get your attention. It’s one of the most engaging luxury sports sedans in the class. INFINITI equips the Q50 with a standard twin-turbo V6 engine, which develops a satisfying 300 horsepower. A seven-speed automatic transmission enables you to move out quickly. While the Q50 certainly packs enough muscle to keep you entertained, don’t overlook this sedan’s strong fuel economy. It returns up to 29 mpg on the open road.

Nature

The spring season is when many people start spending more time on the road as the weather clears up and becomes warmer. After your car suffers from wear and tear in the winter, it’s important to perform routine maintenance on your vehicle to restore its condition. There are a few auto maintenance tips to perform with a mechanic to avoid potential issues.

Inspect the Air Conditioner
You’ll rely on your air conditioner to stay cool as the temperatures rise outside, making it necessary to test the different speeds of the A/C. There should be cool air blowing through the front and back seat vents. If you notice warm air or a lack of air, you’ll need to schedule an appointment to have a mechanic diagnose the issue.

Check for Dents
Rocks and other pieces of debris on the road in the winter can cause damage to the exterior of your vehicle. Once spring arrives, you can have more sunlight to examine any damage that is present and use paint to touch up blemishes. You can also bring the vehicle to an auto shop that performs paintless dent repair, which will restore the value and quality of the car.

Perform an Oil Change
The oil is considered to be the blood of your car’s engine, making it necessary to replace the fluid to keep everything operating well under the hood. New oil will add more lubrication to the parts to prevent excess wear and tear from developing as the vehicle is in use. This is also an ideal time to top off the fluids and clean the engines. A mechanic can also rotate your tires to prevent the tread from wearing down.

Clean the Vehicle
Cleaning the interior and exterior of your car will make it comfortable to continue using once trash, debris, and dirt are removed. Make it a point to vacuum the seats and use leather upholstery cleaner. Wipe off the dashboard and clean out the cupholders with a wet rag. It’s also a great time to wax the exterior of the vehicle, which will restore the condition of the paint and will remove any grime that has developed from the road.

Electric Cars

INFINITI plans to make its offerings all-electric by 2030. What they said specifically is that they should have most of the vehicles all-electric by 2030, so it appears to be more of a loose date.

First EV

The expectation for INFINITI’s first EV is for 2022. The likelihood is that there’s going to be a dedicated platform for their EV. It’s said to be similar or even the same as one used by Nissan. Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot of information available about Evs from INFINITI as of yet. The only hard facts given out by them include that they are going to be majority electric by 2030.

The focus is also on making sure that the tech is easy to use because they don’t want to overwhelm drivers with a lot of new technology related to all-electric. For this reason, INFINITI is said to be likely using hybrid vehicles for a while until they go with a majority of all EV vehicles by 2030.

Hybrids

This is why people following INFINITI and the electric revolution should expect hybrids first. Their philosophy is that they should get their customers used to this technology first instead of overwhelming them all at once. INFINITI emphasizes their customer-first approach, which will lead to combustion engines, all-electric engines, and many things in between, including what they call “advanced combustion engines.

They call this their “re-evaluation and reapproach” plan.

One of these vehicles is based on the Q and QX Inspiration vehicles where, at first, the electric part of the hybrid vehicle functioned mostly as a generator only. This is how they plan to transition towards fully EV units.

This technology will be similar to Nissan’s e-Power, but it will have a different name once it’s released. It is hybrid-like tech but will likely not be using that particular name. It will still have more efficient fuel systems and fewer emissions than a non-hybrid car, but not on the level of an EV.

For more information about INFINITI, their EV plans, when their EVs are coming out, and other information, please make sure to contact us at our dealership today. You can do so through our phone line, through our website, and email or you can just come to visit us at our dealership directly. Car

Vincentric is a company that researches the auto markets in Canada and the United States of America. The 2021 INFINITI Q60 coupe won the “Best Value in America” award from this reputable agency, meeting several important metrics that truly matter to consumers.

Impressive Capabilities and Luxurious Appointments

As a luxury coupe with a high-performance design, the 2021 Q60 naturally has lots of sporty flair. This compact car is available in several eye-catching paint colors, such as Grand Blue, Dynamic Sunstone Red, and Slate Gray. If you want to make a bold styling expression in a major city, choose Midnight Black or Black Obsidian. Some exterior finishes that exhibit modern elegance include Pure White and Majestic White. This cool car rolls on standard 19.0 x 9.0-inch alloy wheels with contemporary styling. The rear staggered alloy wheels measure 20 x 9.5 inches, providing more distinctive appeal. Thanks to the unique Zero-Lift Aerodynamics architecture, this agile INFINITI model experiences minimum drag forces on the highway.

You’ll embrace the 2021 Q60’s stunning interior design, which draws strong influences from racing cars. For example, the sport pedals have aluminum accents for unique aesthetics inside the cockpit. Covered in Matte Black, the Carbon Fiber trimming adds high-end appeal to the cabin. A touch of Dark Chrome is beautifully integrated into other parts of the front row. Red stitches create dazzling visual contrasts on the shifting handle. This athletic INFINITI is available in deluxe upholstery, such as semi-aniline leather, with deep treatments for extra durability. Such a material comes in Gallery White, Stone, and Monaco Red. A Graphite finish is available for leatherette and semi-aniline leather textiles.

The 2021 Q60 offers class-leading value in the mechanical department, thanks to several notable installations. Whipping out 300 horsepower, the default 3.0-liter engine includes two turbochargers. You’ll get an additional 100 hp from this V-6 engine that’s installed on the Red Sport 400. Both versions work in sync with an electronically controlled automatic gearbox that makes seven total speeds. The Manual Shift Mode enables smooth shifting patterns in a controlled sequence. All power flows directly to the default rear-wheel drive system. However, the Intelligent AWD splits the torque when some traction is lost in any of the wheels. Additionally, this nimble coupe has the Dynamic Digital Suspension System that adjusts the vertical travel in the wheels.

When you visit our premier INFINITI car dealership, you could test drive the 2021 Q60 coupe in several editions.

Designed for the luxury segment in the USA, 2021 INFINITI cars are packed with advanced safety technologies. Let’s examine some of the top driver-assistance features and passive safety installations that are available for these premium cars.

Active and Passive Safety Highlights of 2021 INFINITI Models

INFINITI offers an array of active safety technologies for all models on the 2021 lineup. The Predictive Forward Collision Warning quickly analyzes the risk for a frontal crash based on your speed and the movement of the car that’s ahead. If a collision seems imminent, the Forward Emergency Braking will immediately apply the brakes. This latest technology also has sensors to detect pedestrians that suddenly appear on the road. You’ll find several other crash-mitigation functions on 2021 INFINITI models, like the Intelligent Cruise Control. Measuring the distance to the car in front, the ICC adjusts your speed accordingly. Not sure when it’s safe to move into an adjacent lane? Look and listen for cues from the Lane Departure Warning. Similarly, the Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention will spare you from a close encounter with a car in another lane. As the name implies, this innovative technology thoroughly scans all blind spots around your INFINITI model.

Exiting a parking space in a 2021 INFINITI vehicle should be easy when you have the Rear Cross Traffic Alert. As you slowly back up, the RCTA scans the area behind you for any approaching vehicles. You’ll be encouraged to stop if another car quickly approaches your anticipated path. Select models are available with the Around View Monitor, which is fully synchronized with the INFINITI InTouch multimedia touch screen in the center stack. You could select desirable views on the monitor based on the expected maneuvers. This advanced monitor includes the Moving Object Detection, which is on the lookout for anything that might creep up from behind.

When you handle a 2021 INFINITI car, you will also get good protection from a handful of passive safety installations. For example, most trims include an advanced airbag system in the first row—side-curtain airbags creating maximum shielding against any obstacles that enter the cabin during a harsh crash. Most INFINITI models also have multiple rollover sensors that trigger the activation of airbags for the outboard seating. Thanks to the Automatic Collision Notification, your information will be shared with live agents.

Visit our INFINITI car dealership to experience some of the top safety technologies on our 2021 models.

Concept

Developed with the electric vehicle market in mind, the INFINITI Qs has a new take on sporty sedans that provide a new powertrain variation. INFINITI is always looking to evolve its brand and surpass its competition, and the Qs hold true to this mission. INFINITI has plans to offer electric models across its entire lineup in the near future. The Qs has a very artistic exterior to it, with bold lines and a unique concept.

INFINITI Qs Interior

The interior of the Qs is very simple, which might be surprising based on how the exterior looks. The vehicle is split into two different areas. The driver’s area is very basic, without a lot of switches, bells, or whistles. It’s designed with the driver’s experience in mind, giving great thought to the colors used. The passenger area focuses on comfort quite a bit, paying attention to the color palette used and the seating inclusions. You’ll feel like the interior is set up to look like a lounge rather than a stuffy vehicle interior.

INFINITI Qs Exterior

One of the most notable things you’ll find on the exterior of the INFINITI Qs is its front-end design. There isn’t a need for an air intake space, so the front end lacks a grille of any kind. It’s a completely flat front, with the INFINITI logo provided in an illuminated version. Channels are worked into the exterior design in order to divert airflow around the body of the vehicle. The headlamps have a very origami-styled design to them. The exterior color is Liquid White.

The INFINITI Qs is part of INFINITI’s 4EN approach to modern design. It’s designed to engage the consumer that’s interested in the electrified automobile era. If you’re thinking about what other sedans currently look like, this vehicle challenges that concept and takes it to a whole new level. We encourage you to reach out to our staff here at Crest INFINITI if you would like to learn more about the current INFINITI lineup as well as what we can expect from the INFINITI Qs.

QX80

INFINITI isn’t holding back for the 2022 model year when it comes to the technology included inside its QX80 vehicle. Several updates are being made this coming model year, but technology is taking center stage for INFINITI. The QX80 is going to receive a newly designed infotainment system that is 12.3-inches in size. This will be the standard inclusion, and it replaces the old two-screen setup that wasn’t necessarily a favorite of our clients. You can control the infotainment system by using the touch screen, or you can utilize the control knob as well.

In the middle of the center console-setup, a new wireless smartphone charging pad is available. No longer will you have to fiddle around with a cable when you enter your vehicle. You place your phone on the pad, and charging will engage on its own. At the location of this center stack, there are also new controls for dual climate regulation.

The QX80 is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and you can use Apple CarPlay wirelessly. Navigation is a standard feature in every 2022 QX80, along with the InTouch connectivity service.

While you won’t see a lot of changes having been made to the exterior of the QX80, you’re in for a real treat when you sit inside the vehicle to experience all of the technology that’s being included. Also, the powertrain is the same thanks to its adequate 5.6-liter V8 engine that achieves 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard, along with a seven-speed automatic transmission.

Stop down to Crest INFINITI if you would like to learn more about the technology that is now being included in the 2022 model of the QX80. We would be happy to have you come down to our dealership for more information, and we can also schedule you for a test drive.
